How to subscribe to threat intelligence from BleepingComputer and view it in Slack

Staying up to date with information security and cyber security threat intelligence is essential for protecting your organisation against evolving risks. It enables you to proactively identify and respond to potential threats, safeguard sensitive data, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain trust with customers and stakeholders.

The following instructions will guide you on how to subscribe to threat intelligence from Bleeping Computer, which is typically a good source of intelligence.

1. In Slack - Create the channel you would like the threat intel to be posted to e.g. threat-intel-example
2. If the RSS application is not already available in Slack, you will need to add it. Select Admin - Apps and Workflows.
   1. In the browser - search the Slack Marketplace for the RSS app and Add to Slack
   2. Add this feed "https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/feed/" 
3. Now go back to Slack and select right click on the new channel and select "view channel details"
   
4. Select Integrations and "Add an App"
   
5. Select RSS
   
6. Post to channel - select your new channel
