How do I share polices with team mates, and ask them to confirm that they have read the document(s)?
Note that before you configure the Read requests on a Policy, you must have configured user Groups on the People page. For more information on setting up Groups, read this article.

In the Adoptech Portal navigate to and select Policies & Docs in the left hand menu.

Under the Live tab, locate the policy you would like to send a read request for, select the meatball menu to the right (⋯) and select Policy Settings.

The Policy Settings Righthand-side menu (RHS) will open. Under Read requests start to type the name of the user Group you would like to add.

6. To see who this has been sent to you can either click on the Read by column on the Live policies table or you can go back into Policy Settings in the RHS menu.
How are users alerted to the read requests?
1. Users will see the a policy appear in the Live table on the Policies and Docs page. There will be an orange Read button appear on the right hand side. The user should click on this button to attest that they have read the policy. This button will remain until the user has attested that they have read the policy by reading the policy and clicking on the green Confirm Read button at the bottom of the policy.
2. An email will be sent to all the chosen recipients at the end of the day with the list of policies they have been asked to read that day along with any other compliance changes directly affecting them. No email is sent if no compliance changes have taken effect.
