How do I remove policies from a test?

How to unlink a policy from an associated control?

Please note: we only recommend this process, if the policies are not relevant, for example, you have other policies cover that control.

When you run a test "ISO 27001 policies are live within Adoptech" you may get an error saying "There are 'x' live documents not found'. 

To fix this, we need to unlink a policy in question from all associated controls. Below are the steps on how to achieve that.

1. First, we make sure Policy Framework references are ticked for the framework you're working on.

2. With that ticked, we go to our policy and scroll down to the bottom. Here we see all the controls where this policy is referenced. Save the controls somewhere handy.

3. Then we go into Frameworks > Controls

4. Use the search to find the control in question > open the control by clicking on it.

5. Find your policy and click the bin icon to unlink it and remove from this control

6. Repeat with every control and the next time you run the test "ISO 27001 Policies Live" for the "A.5.1 Policies for information security" control, it will complete. If it still doesn't complete, please contact Support.
