How do I remove policies from a Control (and associated test)?

This article explains how to unlink a policy from a Control and it's associated checks/tests.

Please note: we only recommend this process, if the policies are not relevant, for example, you have other policies cover that control.

When you run a test ISO 27001 Policies Live you may get an error and a failed test.

To fix this, we need to unlink a policy in question from all associated controls. Below are the steps on how to achieve that.

1. Please go into Frameworks > Controls

2. Use the search to find the control in question > open the control by clicking on it.

3. Find your policy and click the bin icon to unlink it and remove from this control

4. Repeat with every control and the next time you run the test "ISO 27001 Policies Live" for the "A.5.1 Policies for information security" control, it will complete. If it still doesn't complete, please contact Support.
