How do I make a Control compliant?

What are the different status settings for a Control?

A control can have a status of 'Pending', 'Not compliant' or 'Compliant'.

Where can I check the status of a Control?

A control's status is visible on the control itself and in several views/pages.

1. On the main Controls page, the Control's status is displayed on the left hand column with a red tick for Not compliant and a green tick for Compliant. Grey tick is for the controls that haven't been reviewed yet.

2. Control RHS menu is showing the Status in the Overview section.

3. Control RHS page in the section outlining the Associated checks and tests.

How do I change a Control's status from Not compliant to Compliant?

A Control's initial status is Not compliant.  

The status of a Control is determined by the status of its Associated Checks.

If any Checks are Failing or Pending, then the control status will be Not compliant.

If all Checks are compliant, the control status is Compliant
