How can I search for content in the Portal?

This article explains how to search for content across the Portal and how to filter search results to quickly find the information you need.

Adoptech’s search feature is available in the header on every page of the Portal. It allows you to search across all areas of the Portal and returns the most relevant results based on your search term. Results are only shown for content that you have permission to access.

This feature was recently launched and currently supports the following content types:

  • Controls
  • Knowledge articles
  • Legislation
  • Live policies
  • Policy templates
  • Risk 
  • Suppliers

How to use the search

  1. Click on the search bar in the header of any page in the Portal and begin typing your search term. Results will automatically populate and update as you type.

  2. Review the list of returned results, which are ordered by relevance and may include multiple content types.

  3. Use the Type filter to narrow your results to a specific content type. To remove the filter, click the X in the Type field.
